If you didn’t already know there is a way to identify your pencil. If you did then I imagine you won’t be reading much more of this article(iv’e got a few more you might like). But just in case you need what I got

Here’ s a quick breakdown of how to do it.

At this point im going to assume you know what an apple pencil is, have one or are looking for a way to identify and return an Apple pencil to someone who has lost one. Ok.

How do I find the serial numbers?

The solid, one piece state of the Apple Pencil leaves few places to hid the valuable info you need to identify your super necessary accessory in the event of displacement. Inconspicuously hidden under the cap, on the charging female piece you will find this information. The use of a magnifying glass and/or a bright light is need to read the super tiny but oh so important numbers.

These numbers correspond to the serial #’s on the box the pencil came in. Im sure the ipad device or account associated can also give you these credentials.

We have to give it up to Apple for being so damn resourceful and innovative. In addition to the usefulness of this pencil for drawing, creating and writing, the fact it can be identified without ingravement is super dope. Of course I didn’t know this purchasing the pencil and it wasnt a big deal so it’s probably not a big deal in a lot of minds but knowing this can be done will surely help somebody out of a tight spot; Maybe you.
