Heey guys and welcome back to another week of Meditation focused blogging and wellness. For my Crushes, I've decided to provide a bit extra in the blog this week, just to show that we are listening here at Jax Energetic. HEEY!!!! For our newbies welcome we are grateful to have you hear willing and eager to learn more about your well-being and the tool that helps us get to that place, meditation. Let's get started!

Whether performing any of the meditations of this program/offering or any other- be sure to consult your physician if you have known adverse reactions to any of the concepts written or included with our recording or copy.

This article specifically is written with the full series in mind- a wrap up and

explainer for those that may or may not have been following along weekly yet.

In this Trauma-Informed approach to a 28-day commitment to mindfulness we have tackled the four phases, or pillars that make the series successful, in other words GET RESULTS!

The video/visuals are done. The articles are written and hopefully you've seen a teaser reel or two!

Briefly, we'll state the phases and names then we'll discuss what to do after the 28th day.

If you haven't read the previous articles of each week, please do so on our blog at Jax Energetic. They are listed under the Series Two Guided Meditations. (check out the button below for instant teleportation🚀)

If you're ready to get started let's dive in!

Pillar Focus and Basis

Pillar(phase) One: Stabilization and Grounding

Week 1

Pillar (phase) Two: Self Compassion & Acceptance

Week 2

Pillar(phase) Three: Interpersonal Awareness

Week 3

Pillar(phase) Four: Integration and Moving Forward

Week 4

You'll notice that this program has one additional week. This is in attempts to make the Trauma-Informed Guided Meditations more thorough and with a sense of completion. While it makes the Series longer than Series 1, it's not by much!

Each of these Pillars have been discussed in detail in weeks prior! Use the big button below to access those blog articles!!

Series 2 Guided Meditation for T-I listeners are performed at a beginner level and contains thematic images, sounds and instructions with Trauma-Informed care considerations in mind. The Basis of the series is to provide an alternative to the enthusiast level meditations that may include guidance and instruction that might pose uncomfortable expectations and directions. If you have already listened to this Series and feel you can benefit from Series 1, feel free to read the accompanying articles to familiarize yourself with the terms and dive in! The growth from Series 2 trauma-Informed to Series 1 enthusiast is a feat worth celebrating!

First of all, what's the investment?

Time. Each pillar is broken down into two formats- A Guided Meditation posted to YouTube and a short, but informative, blog article. We recommend that you use both to get a well-rounded understanding of the concepts. The Guided Meditation videos range in length and can be consumed in 20 minutes or less. Our Blog Articles are written for a quick read and can be consumed in less than 10 minutes! For a 30-minute investment of time you can tap in and make yourself and your actions superhuman!

Here's How This Series Should Fit into Your Routine

Daily:

  • Complete The Morning Routine 5min (the 10-minute routine is recommended)

  • Include micro breaks throughout your day that exclude screens (your phone(s))

  • Use the Guided Meditations in order as recommended; 1x a day for 7days,

    or

  • Select a guided meditation for strengthening areas feeling weak or (re)-enjoying a favorite meditation that feels valuable.

Weekly:

  • Journal your clearest thoughts using non-judgmental awareness

  • Share these resources with a friend and make each other accountability buddies

  • Share your weekly findings with your Counselor or Therapist, helping to facilitate conversation/Breakthrough

After the 28th Day

It takes most people 28 days to build a strong habit. Because this Series is longer just by completing it you will have reached a milestone in habit building! After 28 days of using the method above and the resources you find here on Jax Energetic Blog and the HeeyDominique YouTube page you should feel at least, more in tune with your self-acceptance and comfortable talking to a friend or professional, if you find you need further assistance than these self-help resources. Healing is not linear, so be patient with yourself as you find a recipe that works best for you and your thoughts.

Continue to use the resources as needed-- returning when situations call for mood boosting dopamine production, executive function assurance or just plain relaxation. The dopamine produced while reading and listening to calming sounds are a steady source that lasts for much longer than scrolling and is not nearly as dangerous to your peak energy levels!

A morning routine (5 or 10 minutes)

I've covered The 5 Minute Routine in a previous article but feel free to use your own that has been working for you in the past, that compliments your current tonic and productive morning routine or simply, the guided meditations alone. Because the meditations are longer, we recommend that they be used during down time- like breaks, evenings or during commutes. Headphones are recommended. If you're interested in the 10-minute routine I've created specifically for this program, please feel free to reach out to me at the contact link below!

Micro Breaks

Start with 2-5 minutes a day and work your way to 10 minutes three times a day in order to feel refreshed, able to tackle large projects and reset your Dopamine response. If any of this is feeling unfamiliar don't be afraid to hit google and search the topic! (or you can check out the Series 1 blog like we mentioned above😉)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST...

Don't forget to celebrate the wins! Even the small wins deserve acknowledgement as you make your way to a better state of mind. The road can be tough and if you're a generational curse breaker, single parent, 'scape goat or just haven't found your passion yet the voices can be loud and unyielding, Stay Encouraged and Keep Going!!

Consistency is key. The more you practice, the more you maintain your ability to confidently handle any and all potential threats to your cognitive abilities (THINK Quickly and avoid unnecessary conflict!).
